"it seems we have a problem on our rig as it does not work with the remote in wireless mode, only on wired mode..."
What happens when you power on the THC wirelessly? -Do any of the LED lights come on? -On top of the THC is a blue LED which lights up when a wireless connection is made with a rig. Does that light turn on? (if the LED is blinking, no connection has been made) -Check the antenna on the THC and the Rig, make sure they're undamaged and secure Sometimes, depending on your location, some channels will not make a connection due to interference. *note* only RF THC's have the ability of changing channels. If you have a blue tooth THC, you may skip this step. Try changing wireless channels: http://www.3alitytechnica.com/forums...hread.php?t=94 -It is possible the antenna cable inside the Motor Box or THC became dislodged. If this is so, a wireless connection can still be made if the THC is placed within inches of the Motor Box. If a connection is made, we know it's a problem with the antenna cable (which can easily be reinserted). -Have you checked if you've locked the THC functions? http://technica3d.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80 -Test the wireless connection with another Rig or THC -Try testing the S-THC on a 6-Axis Lens Control Box -Try testing a L-THC on the Rig Try updating to the newest S-THC firmware: http://technica3d.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79 John Che 3Ality Technica Last edited by John Che; 06-26-2012 at 10:32 AM. |

Hello John,
So the LEDs do come up on the remote. I'll try to do the firmware upgrade but since it was working before there is no reason the previous firmware suddenly caused the remote not to work anymore right? Thanks, Arnaud |

Also John to be more precise the blue light on the THC is blinking, not steady.
Does that mean that the bluetooth connection is not being made properly? |

And also we tried updating the THC's firmware to THC20110628.bin but we still have the same issue and the blue led is still flashing on the THC, which probably means it's not establishing the connection properly.
Thanks for your help on this. |

Are you sure you have a bluetooth THC? If you have an RF THC, another option is to change the wireless channel: http://www.3alitytechnica.com/forums...hread.php?t=94 If you are unsure whether or not it's BLUETOOTH or RF, please try this guide: http://www.3alitytechnica.com/forums...?p=262#post262 Last edited by John Che; 12-28-2011 at 10:47 AM. |

You're right John, it isn't a bluetooth one but an RF one as I have the high/low switch and the Antenas are the small version.

Ok John, so I tried 5 different channels and they all resulted in the flashing blue lights on the controller...
I'm getting a bit worried we have a serious issue here. Last edited by aparis; 01-01-2012 at 02:41 AM. |
