Until early 2010, the Technica Hand Controllers were installed with BLUETOOTH wireless systems. After that, we changed our wireless system to RF. There are a few ways to help identify whether your controller is BLUETOOTH or RF. There is no single "smoking gun" unless the hand controller is sent back to our shop. Although with this guide, we can be close to certain in identifying the wireless system installed.
Step 1:
Checking your Motor Control Box (MCB) -
If your MCB has a HIGH/LOW RF switch; it is definitely an RF system. Only RF systems have the HIGH/LOW switch.

Step 2:
Identifying your antenna -

If your RIG+THC has a pair of antennae like #1; it is very likely BLUETOOTH. 3Ality only shipped out BLUETOOTH RIG+THC with these antennae.
If your RIG+THC has a pair of antennae like #2 & #3; it is very likely RF. 3Ality only ships out RIG+THC with these antennae.
Step 3:

If your RIG+THC has a pair of SILVER antennae connectors; it is definitely BLUETOOTH. 3Ality used SILVER connectors for all of our BLUETOOTH systems.
If your RIG+THC has a pair of GOLD antennae connectors; there is a very good chance it is RF. 3Ality switched to GOLD connectors just before phasing out BLUETOOTH and using entirely RF.
