SIP Stereo Image Processor from 3ality Technica



The 3ality Technica Stereo Image Processor™ 2101 (SIP-2101) is the definitive stereo video processing device for High Definition (HD) digital video streams. Designed for production, post-production, and distribution environments, the SIP-2101 provides a number of functions designed to optimize the stereoscopic image pair. The simple, integrated web-based interface provides the user - whether it's the stereographer on a live shoot, an editor in a post-production house, or the quality assurance operator in a broadcast center - with complete stereo information for every shot. When integrated with 3ality Technica's precisely-automated rigs in production environments, corrections are applied dynamically, resulting in near pixel-perfect S3D imagery right from the camera.

    Features Include:
  • COMPREHENSIVE MEASUREMENT, ANALYSIS AND CORRECTION: The SIP-2101 provides on-screen advice on vergence, interaxial settings, and infinity point measurement, as well as user-selectable errors and warnings.
  • COMPLETE GEOMETRIC ANALYSIS: Vertical alignment, rotation, focus, and image size matching preserve the highest level of quality in the imagery.
  • DEPTH ANALYSIS: Depth range and screen plane can be displayed in a simple, easily read bar graph that visualizes the total depth distribution of the image.
  • COLOR AND IRIS ANALYSIS: Luma offset and scale; chroma offset, scale and angle can both be analyzed on screen and manipulated within the SIP software.
  • ROBUST METADATA: Timecode, convergence, interaxial, focus, iris, zoom – and more – can be captured and/or integrated into the production workflow. Pan and tilt metadata are also available when using Vinten® Vector series heads
  • DV AND HD-SDI OUTPUT: Multiple output configurations allow viewing on most S3D monitors and projection systems.
  • Can be used with other non-3ality Technica rigs to provide analysis, decreasing set-up time, lens changes and lens realignments. (In these configurations, Stereo Image Processor provides analysis only.)
